Equipment Engineering Manager jobs in Abilene, TX

The right candidate should be familiar with upstream production equipment such as pressure vessels, piping, tanks, production separators and heaters. Should be familar with fabrication, welding, assembly and labor costing.

- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for manufacturing quotes.

- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements

- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project scope and objectives

- Research and analyze historical data, market trends, and industry standards to ensure accurate cost estimates

- Assist with preparing comprehensive bid proposals

- Monitor project costs throughout the process and consult with senior project managers.

```Experience```

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.

- Proven experience as a Estimator in the Manufacturing industry.

- Strong knowledge of estimating principals.

- Proficiency in using ERP systems, labor estimating, material estimating, and bill of materials.

- Ability to read P&ID and engineering drawings.

- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills

- Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams.

- At team player.

- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
