Equipment Engineering Manager manages equipment engineering activities within an organization. Implements and maintains policies and procedures for designing, developing and implementing equipment. Being an Equipment Engineering Manager ensures all equipment engineering projects, initiatives, and processes comply with established policies and objectives. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Equipment Engineering Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Equipment Engineering Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.   • Essential Job Functions:
    • Utilizing excel, track equipment status and assignments.
    • Monitor equipment hours weekly and ensure required maintenance is completed.
    • Review sub-contractor equipment documents.
    • Managing all equipment repairs as needed.
    • Maintain accurate records to include inspections, contracts, approval forms, etc.
    • Manage equipment mobilization and demobilization across the Prudhoe Bay field.
    • Communicate with Deltas client regarding equipment status and needs.
    • Assist with planning equipment requirements for upcoming projects.
    • Managing site services to include dumpster and restrooms.
    • Ensure equipment on site meets the contract stipulations.

    Required Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) Training, required.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience operating equipment in an industrial oilfield setting.
    • Minimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in an industrial oilfield setting.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

    • Knowledge of crane operators (boom, mobile, tower, overhead, articulating etc.) and other heavy civil construction equipment functions and operations.
    • Knowledge of proper equipment use conducive to conditions and assignment.
    • Have a thorough knowledge of OSHA rules and standards.
    • Knowledge of Hazardous Materials and Safety Regulations and industry practices related to equipment use and operation.
    • Knowledge of computer functions and programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Ability to write and speak to an audience in a professional manner.
    • Knowledge of industrial oilfield safe work procedures, processes, and methods.
    • Ability to use time and equipment efficiently to complete projects on time.
