Equipment Engineering Manager manages equipment engineering activities within an organization. Implements and maintains policies and procedures for designing, developing and implementing equipment.   • Summary/Objective

    The Branch Manager role is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the rental center business. This includes leading all aspects of Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Maintenance, and Logistics, including achievement of financial and performance goals. The role is also responsible for the unit's operational and financial reporting functions.

    Essential Functions

    • Ensures employees work in a safe and secure environment. Ensures compliance to policy and procedure.
    • Market full line of new, used and rental products as well as related services within an assigned territory, achieving sales volume, profit and market share objectives.
    • Successfully manages assigned branch territories, ensuring sales representatives are developing business opportunities with new and existing accounts through effective planning and strong participation.
    • Embrace technology to ensure most efficient and effective territory management.
    • Research and stay in tune with local market conditions and developments.
    • Ensure a world-class customer experience by conducting business with integrity and working as a strong team player.
    • Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orientating, and training employees
    • Recognizes and celebrates employee achievements and milestones. Addresses employee performance issues using performance management. Develops talent.
    • Strong understanding of P&L and other key financial controls
    • Strong Work Ethic, Highly Energetic.

    Required Education and Experience

    • Relevant 4-year Bachelor’s Degree
    • Previous sales experience in equipment industry, however industry related skill sets, knowledge or experience will be considered.
    • Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills.
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
    • Strong Ability to Motivate and Influence others.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook )
    • Must have valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record history
    • Experience in construction or industrial markets preferred.

    Military service will be considered in lieu of education/certification experience as applicable.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    • Manage and support the Branch employees

    Work Environment

    • Environment is consistent with that of heavy equipment outdoor yard and repair shop
    • Office environment is consistent with using a computer, telephone, and other office equipment. Frequent interruptions throughout the workday.

    Travel required

    • Occasional overnight travel required

    Physical Demands

    • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
    • Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed
    • Must be able to visually inspect machines
    • Reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
    • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
