  • Duties

    As an Engineering Equipment Operator, your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Operate a variety of tracked and wheeled heavy equipment, such as excavators, dump trucks, motor-grader, agricultural and articulating tractors with implements, and dozers above the D6 size.
    • Service and repair equipment that includes checking fluids, lubricating, replacing components that require dismantling of the equipment such as radiators, hydraulic tanks, alternators, tracks, and excavator bucket teeth.
    • Troubleshoot and perform repairs to a variety of heavy mobile equipment and vehicles by removing, adjusting, or replacing defective or worn parts and components.

    Although no specific amount of experience, education or training is required, applicants must meet a minimum level of ability in relation to the position and the Assessment Questionnaire in order to be rated qualified for consideration.
