Koenig is currently searching for a qualified Service Manager to support the dealership's Urbana, OH location.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Fully embrace and utilize all operating systems required to support the business operations.
    • Execute the required standard work to achieve budget initiatives for revenue generation (Customer Labor) and expense control (Non-Revenue time).
    • Develop service programs, campaigns, clinics, and other events to drive customer satisfaction with the Koenig brand.
    • Champion Work Order to Invoice, make its execution a top priority for exceeding customer expectations.
    • Monitor progress of work flow via twice daily “walk arounds”. Ensure the schedule is met at the stated quote, develop recovery plan or plans when changes are required.
    • Communicate necessary changes to the Work Order and confirm (document) customer approval before moving forward.
    • Review signed off segments submitted by the technician prior to invoicing each work order.
    • Promptly invoice external customer work orders assuring proper GL accounts have been utilized.
    • Review and reassign internal work orders for proper GL assignment(s) and invoicing
    • Review and reassign warrant/pip work order(s) to the warranty administrator for proper GL assignment(s) and invoicing to John Deere or our other OE manufacturers.
    • Assist in the identification of potential job codes and forward the information on to the proper individual for system creation within IntelliDealer.
    • Perform quarterly performance reviews for the technicians, review their performance indicators, identify gaps that need attention, define a recovery plan for the individual that may necessitate addition training.
    • Review Koenig depth charts to ensure the branch and/or company has sufficient knowledge/expertise to properly service the equipment product lines sold in our AOR’s.
    • Assure technician learning paths support the product line coverage KEI desires per the above line item.

    Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years of experience in a comparable role in a service environment.
    • Strong management, customer service and inter-personal skills. Ability to communicate effectively.
    • Basic knowledge of product line and mechanical systems being repaired.
    • Ability to use computer operating system (IntelliDealer), vendor computer resources, and basic Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook tasks.
    • Commitment to maintain standards and address issues in a timely, professional manner.
    • Strong time management skills.
    • Fundamental understanding of financial reporting principles relative to service operations.
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
