Territory General Manager
The Territory General Manager leads store personnel and supports their essential sales functions. This includes planning, reporting, goal setting, sales process, sales training, and sales program implementation which optimizes the sale of all retail and services provided by Bane-Welker Equipment.
The Territory General Manager is responsible for the overall sales productivity and effectiveness of the designated store’s location. Reporting to the Regional General Manager, the Territory General Manager also works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled within the designated store’s location.
RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Coordinates sales activities to generate equipment, parts, and service sales to achieve goals for designated store locations.
- Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement. Works closely with Complex Directors to inspect sales process effectiveness and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
- Manage designated store’s inventories and service compacity by working with Sales Representatives and Departmental Managers to optimize value.
- Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the store’s departments. Recommends revisions to existing reports and assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
- Manage selling and customer service activities and staff competence to optimize and sustain sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives.
- Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel.
- Other duties that may be assigned by the Regional General Manager.
- Proactive identification and implementation of needed personnel development within the store.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:
- Degree in Ag Management or 4-plus years of equivalent experience.
- Leadership, tact, and knowledge in assigning and instructing personnel.
- Demonstrates effective planning and time management skills.
- Proven ability to maintain customer relationships.
- Understanding the organization’s structure and philosophy.

- Work is performed in an office, maintenance shop and outdoor environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system. May be subject to sitting, standing, climbing, lifting, grasping, reaching, stooping, crouching, speaking, listening and motor coordination.
