Equipment Manager manages daily operations for the equipment procurement, inventory management and maintenance function. Tracks the records, licenses, inspections, warrantees, and service agreements for the organization's equipment and tools. Being an Equipment Manager minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking. Tracks equipment quality throughout the product lifetime and makes recommendations for alternatives if needed. Additionally, Equipment Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Equipment Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
KEY QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Management or related field from an accredited school or university.
Three years exempt-level experience in human resources management, with a working knowledge of the functional areas of Human Resources including, but not limited to employment law, compensation, employee benefits, recruitment, organizational planning, HRIS, employee relations, and training/development.
Proven ability to navigate ambiguity within a complex, dynamic, and rapidly changing business environment
Proven ability to seamlessly transition between strategic thinking and tactical execution
Proven ability to prioritize the most impactful work amidst multiple competing priorities
Prior HRIS database experience is a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft suite of products
Ability to maintain confidentiality or sensitive information
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
PHR/SPHR, SHRM-CP or SCP Certification strongly preferred
Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
