Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     Job Description

    In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing all construction equipment. Your duties will include monitoring inventory, inspecting machines, and assembling construction equipment.

    To succeed in this role, you should be physically and mentally fit and have a solid knowledge of basic mechanic’s tools, service, and diagnostic equipment. Our ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and customer service skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct regular maintenance on a wide variety of machinery.
    • Perform Inspections and assist in estimates of repairs.
    • Repair mechanical components according to specifications.
    • Examine machines and perform diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
    • Track time on each repair job, document actions taken and prepare records for warranty submission.
    • Other duties and needed.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
    • Certification from a vocational school or trade school is preferred.
    • A minimum of 5 years’ heavy equipment experience.
    • In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems.
    • Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Basic typing and computer skills.
