Summary:
This position is responsible to oversee and manage the development of the Maintenance of Equipment (MofE) Department's total annual material requirements to support all rolling stock maintenance programs under the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Program as well as Diesel Fleet initiatives and Rolling Stock Support Equipment and continuing long-term maintenance strategies that is constantly being developed for existing and new fleets. This position will utilize the current computer applications and resources available to develop and track the Department's multi-million dollar Annual RCM Production Master Schedule in order to support the goals and initiatives set forth to ensure fleet availability. This position will also spearhead the development of business requirements for necessary departmental supply chain management, while working within the constraints imposed by budget and procurement guidelines. This position is also responsible for overseeing MofE inventory material levels, valued in excess of $150MM, as well as collaborating with MTA consolidated business partners and the BSC to ensure MofE meets AM & PM peak requirements and provides safe and reliable rolling stock for our customers.
