Equipment Manager manages daily operations for the equipment procurement, inventory management and maintenance function. Tracks the records, licenses, inspections, warrantees, and service agreements for the organization's equipment and tools. Being an Equipment Manager minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking. Tracks equipment quality throughout the product lifetime and makes recommendations for alternatives if needed. Additionally, Equipment Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Equipment Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     Under the direction of the General Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in the following:

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way
    • Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
    • Oversee purchase of materials, coordinate inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
    • Help the organization’s processes remain legally compliant
    • Develop strategic and operational objectives aligned with the needs of the business and industry
    • Utilize financial data to optimize profitability
    • Oversee, budgeting, forecasting, and financial management
    • Assist with recruiting, training and supervision of staff
    • Enhance customer service quality tailored to meet the unique demands of aggregate clientele
    • Engage in long-term planning to support growth and success in the industry
    • Facilitate collaboration among outside sales, inside parts sales, warehouse, and corporate team
    • Assessing and analyzing departmental budgets to find ways to optimize profitability
    • Identify and address operational challenges to maximize efficiency and revenue
    • Identify market opportunities within the sector and communicate potential strategies accordingly
    • Understand regulatory and safety standards specific to the industry

    Requirements:

    • Previous work experience in Equipment Dealership preferred but not required
    • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
    • Learn our ERP system and fulfill orders
    • Experience budgeting and forecasting
    • Familiarity with business and financial principles
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Leadership ability
    • Interpersonal skills to communicate with executives and staff employees
    • Strong personal and professional judgment
    • Adaptability to respond quickly to a shifting reality and adjust initiatives and priorities
    • Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority
    • Comfortable with legal and regulatory processes to ensure company compliance
    • Problem-solving skills

    Compensation:

    • Salary ranges from 90K-100K
