Equipment Manager manages daily operations for the equipment procurement, inventory management and maintenance function. Tracks the records, licenses, inspections, warrantees, and service agreements for the organization's equipment and tools. Being an Equipment Manager minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking. Tracks equipment quality throughout the product lifetime and makes recommendations for alternatives if needed. Additionally, Equipment Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Equipment Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     Job Responsibilities:
    • Develop people through regular cadence process and development plans
    • Assess staffing level requirements, support recruiting and interview process, and coordinate training plans
    • Review service schedule to maximize utilization of personnel
    • Maintain accurate training records for all personnel
    • Responsible for delivering reports to support the business and meet Emerson requirements
    • Responsible for estimating service costs and writing proposals
    • Ensures consistent adherence to MSAs, risk mitigation, and project deliverable standards
    • Oversees and assists in developing a resource plan and schedule to execute projects
    • Tracks profitability of the group on both a periodic and project basis
    • Contributes to relationship management with customers, key suppliers, and Emerson
    • Develop/hire the correct skillset(s) required to achieve trusted advisor status with our customers
