Escrow Officer is responsible for providing escrow information to clients and loan officers. Supervises the preparation and delivery of all necessary escrow documents. Being an Escrow Officer provides mortgage holders with required tax documentation for filing tax returns. Ensures the process and documents are in compliance with all applicable regulations and laws. Additionally, Escrow Officer may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Escrow Officer supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Escrow Officer typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     About Correctional Industrial Facility:

    As a part of the Indiana Department of Correction, the Correctional Industrial Facility promotes public safety by providing meaningful, effective opportunities for successful re-entry. We strive to model best Correctional practices, return productive citizens to our communities, and inspire a culture of accountability, integrity and professionalism. The Correctional Industrial Facility is a level 2-3, medium security Correctional facility for adult males. The Correctional Industrial Facility is located in Pendleton, Indiana. The Correctional Industrial Facility has various job opportunities available to incarcerated individuals to aid in the re-entry process, including apprenticeships, maintenance, grounds crew, food service, sanitation, barbering, and manufacturing. Incarcerated individuals are also afforded the opportunity to earn their GED.

    Role Overview:

    As a Correctional Officer at the Correctional Industrial Facility, you will be responsible for working as a part of a team in a medium security Indiana Department of Correction (IDOC) facility for adult males. During a typical 12 hour shift, you will maintain the security of the unit as well as the safety of staff and incarcerated individuals, while ensuring daily activities and programs proceed on schedule. Correctional Officers will work 7 total shifts, including 1 weekend during the 14 day pay period.

    Salary: This position pays at $22/hour.

    A Day in the Life:

    The essential functions of this role are as follows:

    • Monitor assigned areas at various intervals for security of incarcerated individuals, count of incarcerated individuals, and security of buildings and grounds.
    • Follow and ensure compliance with established security procedures.
    • Manage incarcerated individuals in various work details including general clean-up of institutional grounds and buildings.
    • Escort incarcerated individuals to and from various locations across the facility for food, medicines, work assignment, and recreation.
    • Keep records and make reports on such matters as incarcerated individuals’ movements, activities, and rule violations.
    • Search incarcerated individuals' housing areas and visitors for possible unauthorized items.

    What You'll Need for Success:

    You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:

    • Possession of a High School Diploma or High School Equivalent (HSE).
    • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
    • Be willing to travel with reasonable accommodation.
    • Must test negative on all drug screenings.
    • Veteran/law enforcement candidates are encouraged to apply.
    • Ability to work with and around offenders per DOC mission statement.
    • Ability to work mandatory/voluntary overtime in any shift; up to 16 consecutive hours per day.
    • Ability to understand and utilize chemical agents properly.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, including giving clear directions to offenders, completion of offender/conduct reports etc.
    • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to apply as needed.

    You must satisfy the following requirements to continue employment:

    • Ability to successfully complete the personal protection training.
