Local Ormond Beach law firm seeks hard working detail oriented legal assistant. We seek an individual who has experience with handling a probate administration from the issuance of the letters of administration through the discharge of the estate and the drafting of estate planning documents.
The ideal applicant must possess the ability to work independently and complete assigned work in a timely manner while handling several cases at one time. Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining a positive attitude with clients and co-workers is a must. Candidates must have prior law firm experience, be proficient in MS Word, comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn new software, with a solid employment history.
Duties include:
* Prepare correspondence, probate and guardianship pleadings, and other legal documents.
* E-file pleadings and court documents.
* Coordinate calendar and schedule appointments.
* Maintain correspondence with Clients/others.
* General office administration to support the attorney.
