Estate Planning Director directs all aspects of the estate planning function including sales, staffing, and supervision. Participates in training and estate planning workshops. Being an Estate Planning Director ensures that the agency stays abreast of regulatory guidelines and new trends in the field. Researches and advises on tax, technical, and legal questions. Additionally, Estate Planning Director introduces new life products to the field and contributes to design of related software and tools. May be a speaker at insurance conferences or meetings. Requires a bachelor's degree of business, marketing, or mathematics. Typically reports to top management. May require Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU). The Estate Planning Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be an Estate Planning Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. The Cahoon Real Estate is searching for a Director of Operations who will provide top-notch client care support to team agents and clients throughout the real estate transaction. This person would also be a strategic partner to the team’s CEO as they grow the business.
This position requires a well-organized individual who is extremely detail-oriented, committed to following the rules and following up while being able to think creatively and pivot quickly as the team grows. Depending on the number of files, your daily activities may be focused on ensuring all files have the necessary documentation, opening, and closing files, reviewing various systems to ensure all items are accounted for, tracking business metrics, and checking in with your team to make sure they are relaying pertinent information. In addition, you will be juggling additional responsibilities, including onboarding new agents, assisting with social media, organizing client events, preparing team meeting agendas, managing office inventory, and attending training and reviewing KW/Events resources to bring back to your team to implement.
