Estimating Director leads the estimating function and develops standards, procedures, tools, and methodologies to produce cost estimates for technical projects based on work scope, specifications, and proposal or contract requirements. Establishes processes to perform analysis of project requirements, plans, and specifications to identify labor, material, equipment, and service requirements. Being an Estimating Director incorporates benchmark data, trends, and historical pricing to generate detailed cost estimates that consist of itemized lists of expenses, labor hours, material quantities, and potential cost variations. Develops a workflow and system for scheduling and processing estimate requests and communicating with stakeholders. Additionally, Estimating Director depending on the complexity and type of project, may use different estimating methods, mathematical models, or specialized estimating software tools to generate estimates. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Estimating Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Estimating Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     SCHEDULE

    Full Time: 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday with rotating manager on duty schedule
     
    PAY & BENEFITS:

    Annual rate starting at $60,000

    WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
    The EnrichedLIFE Director at Concord Park in Concord, MA, is a key member of the community’s leadership team and reports to the Executive Director. This person is responsible for creating and implementing meaningful, therapeutic programming and an innovative whole-person approach that focuses on a resident’s emotions, strengths, and remaining abilities—not on their disabilities. The ideal candidate will have the ability to map out a range of programs and activities for seniors, including coordinating external trips and scheduling entertainers or guest lecturers at the community. 
     
    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Form meaningful relationships with residents and families.
    • Develop, schedule, organize, oversee and implement all programs for residents, customized to the resident population’s interests.
    • Coordinate entertainment including guest lecturers, musicians, and fitness instructors.
    • Plan regularly scheduled outings for residents; drive the van to take residents on outings including shopping trips, museum visits, and local community events.
    • Supervise part time programming assistant and van driver.
    • Develop monthly newsletter, take photos, and update social media channels.
    • Manage the department budget
    • Serve as Manager on Duty, including rotating weekends
     
    WE’D LOVE TO CHAT IF YOU HAVE:
    • 3 years of senior healthcare experience; Professional licensure in related healthcare field preferred
    • Knowledge of Alzheimer’s Disease, related dementias, and behavior management techniques, and a sincere desire to work with cognitively impaired residents
    • Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and Certified Alzheimer’s Association support group leader (if you don’t, we will offer the opportunity to get these certifications)
    • A valid driver’s license and history of accident-free driving. Must be able to be insured insured by community auto insurance (26 years of age)
