Being an Estimating Manager incorporates benchmark data, trends, and historical pricing to generate detailed cost estimates that consist of itemized lists of expenses, labor hours, material quantities, and potential cost variations. Implements a workflow and system for scheduling and processing estimate requests and communicating with stakeholders. Additionally, Estimating Manager depending on the complexity and type of project, may use different estimating methods, mathematical models, or specialized estimating software tools to generate estimates. We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer with a passion for renewable energy to lead clients, projects, and portfolios as a Project Manager. The Project Manager will work closely with our core renewables team and will manage project responsibilities of multi-discipline teams and projects throughout the northeast.
Qualified candidates will excel at contributing to all phases of Renewable Energy and other Civil Engineering projects including the development of schematic drawings, working within teams in a collaborative manner, producing effective and high-quality drawings to be issued for construction, steering projects through the municipal or state approval process, and supporting projects throughout construction as they progress to commissioning. The ability to communicate effectively using verbal, graphic, and written means is paramount and a necessity for this position.
In addition, the Project Manager will assist with proposal writing and business development, and manage mid-level and entry-level staff.
