We are looking for an Estimator to join our Boston, MA. This person assists in delivering construction projects, which meet or exceed Starlite’s goals by properly supporting the management of the process and the relationships with clients and Starlite staff.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Boston, MA based Estimator who has estimating experience in carpentry, demo and concrete.  At Starlite we will provide you specialized training and development tools that supports you to be your best at running projects, collaborating with clients and developing professionally. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Work with senior management to establish pricing strategy
• Work with operational teams on budget and schedule management from preliminary estimate through project completion
• Do quantity takeoffs and assign labor durations to activities
• Price multiple projects timely, keeping updated logs of status and report out
• Build relationships outside of the organization to develop potential opportunities for acquiring new work
• Follow up on priced opportunities and work with senior management to win work
• Maintain and develop relationships to reinforce a commitment to world-class customer service across the board including co-workers, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and the design community.
• Some operational PM responsibilities could be required.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in construction management with a subcontractor preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction related field or equivalent experience
