Ivey Mechanical is seeking a project estimator to join our commercial plumbing and HVAC estimating team. Estimators are responsible for reviewing drawings and specifications and performing material and labor takeoffs for plumbing, piping and sheetmetal estimates. The estimator will also play a key role in the following areas:

• Conceptual layout and design of mechanical systems
• Budgeting and estimating of construction documents at various stages of completion
• Working with vendors and suppliers
• Assisting with project proposals and presentations
• Maintaining historical cost breakdowns for future analysis
• Attend job-site meetings as required pre-award and during construction
• Participate in bid review meetings
