Reporting to the operations manager, the estimator will play a crucial role in developing new base customers, managing, and updating one calls, building bids, reviewing bid documents, and ensuring effective job tracking and productivity. Essential Responsibilities

Generate new customers, while creating and maintaining relationships with current clientele.

Manage and update one calls. analyze labor and equipment costs,

Review and build accurate new bids and prepare accurate cost estimates.

Determine project schedules and provide job tracking results to maintain accurate progress results.

Create a backlog of work indicating the amount of production needed, and profitability to be generated.

Essential Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred. A minimum of a high School diploma or GED acceptable.

Proof of valid Driver’s License.

Proven DOT experience, and three (3) plus years of experience working in land clearing or a similar industry.

Must possess a solid understanding and knowledge of the services offered.

Proven experience and ability to estimate the cost and time of completing a job.

Experience, building and maintaining customer relationships.

Must possess critical thinking skills and the ability to make sound and decisive decisions.

Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Physical Requirements

May have to sit or stand for long durations.

Will have to work in hot/cold environments and be exposed to various conditions.

The ability to travel periodically to job sites on a regular basis.
