```Duties``` - Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects. - Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes. - Analyze project scope and identify potential risks and opportunities. - Conduct quantity takeoffs and prepare material and labor estimates. - Research and analyze historical data, market trends, and industry benchmarks to ensure accurate cost projections. - Prepare bid packages and submit proposals to clients. - Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project requirements. - Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive bids. - Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide recommendations for cost control measures. - Assist in the development of project budgets and schedules. ```Skills``` - Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices. - Proficiency in project management software/tools such as Bluebeam or similar programs. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents. - Strong negotiation skills to obtain competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors. - Experience with construction estimating software, such as HeavyBid or similar programs. - Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing cost estimates. - Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and subcontractors. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
