As an Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in our team by examining project plans, assessing specifications, and creating precise estimates for construction projects.

Estimator Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to produce accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
• Collaborate with salespersons, architects, and engineers to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
• Utilize estimating software and tools like Microsoft Excel, Office, PDF Editor, and PlanSwift for quantity take-offs and detailed cost estimations.
• Obtains bids from vendors by identifying appropriate sources of materials, providing a clear scope of work, and including relevant drawings and specifications.
• Maintains manufacturer’s catalogues and assembly instructions as needed to provide accurate bill of materials.
• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Maintains quality standards by following organization protocols.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related requirements as needed.
• Experience as an estimator in the construction industry preferred.
