Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, accounting, information technology or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
• Master's Degree: Preferred
• Seven years' experience with finance system implementations: Required
• Five years' leadership experience: Preferred
• Oracle Training: Preferred

Essential Functions:

• Leads the development and execution of a comprehensive finance system strategy aligned with business goals and objectives. Conducts ongoing evaluations of the finances system's functionality and identify opportunities for optimization and expansion. Stays abreast of emerging finance system trends and technologies, recommending and implementing relevant advancements.
• Collaborates with IT to spearhead the planning, execution, and successful completion of finance systems implementation and upgrade projects. Partners with cross-functional teams to define business requirements, configure modules, and ensure seamless system integration. Manages project budgets, timelines, and resources, achieving milestones on time and within budget.
• Develops and implements comprehensive training programs to empower users of all levels to leverage the full potential of the finance system. Provides ongoing support and guidance to users, addressing their concerns and questions promptly. Fosters a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging user feedback and data-driven decision-making.
• Extracts and analyzes valuable insights from the finance systems to inform strategic decision-making and improve operational performance. Develops and implements key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against goals and identify areas for further optimization. Builds and delivers compelling reports and presentations to stakeholders, clearly communicating the benefits and value of the finance systems.
• Leads a team of finance systems report writers and professionals, providing mentorship, coaching, and career development opportunities. Builds strong relationships with stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment and achieve project goals. Communicates effectively with all levels of leadership, translating technical information into clear and actionable insights.
