SUMMARY STATEMENT
The Systems Director has primary responsibility for the operation and ongoing maintenance of the Church Management System (CMS), in addition to training and supporting users of the system.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential:
Provides application and user support for staff and congregation including troubleshooting and correcting issues promptly
Trains users and empowers them to utilize the CMS as a tool for ministry
Prepares reports and dashboards
Maintains data integrity through the use of automated scripts, daily maintenance and by establishing and enforcing protocols for how data is entered and updated
Creates workflows to automate recurring tasks
Assists in communication functions including congregational emails, website and CMS integration, CalvaryNow app changes
Manages Database Programmer and budget for the CMS area
Manages all membership processing and Family Conference reporting
Manages integrations of all systems with CMS
Marginal:
Serves as administrator for other systems such as eSpace, JotForm, Google Forms, Online Giving, etc.
Serves on cross-functional teams as needed for church-wide projects
Provides on-call assistance for check in events weekly
POSITION REQUIREMENTS OR STANDARDS

An undergraduate degree and/or relevant experience in managing software
Project management skills and experience leading cross-functional projects, including documenting and creating processes

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A keen focus on providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
