Job Summary:
North Kern Tulare Hospital District is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant with a can-do attitude, exceptional customer service skills and fantastic organizational experience to join our team. The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the CEO, SNF Administrator, Clinic Director, and HR Manager. This role involves handling confidential information and assisting with various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of executive operations across departments.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
· Provides high-level administrative support and assistance to the CEO, SNF Administrator, Clinic Director, and HR Manager.
· Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, and other documents for senior staff.
· Acts as a liaison of the District with vendors, customers, residents, patients, family members and the public as necessary.
· Perform general secretarial and administrative duties as required or directed by the CEO in support of the administrator functions of all departments within the District.
· Provide assistance to the CEO in their efforts in planning developing, organizing, implementing, and directing the day -to-day functions of the district, its programs, and activities.
· Act as a resource to others, as directed by the CEO in his absence.
· Assists in the preparation and distribution of the Board agendas, minutes, and correspondence; maintain a comprehensive indexing and filing system for the Board action and directives; codifies and publishes ordinances.
· Complete the previous month’s minutes for approval of the Board.
· Serve as the official record keeper of the Board of Directors, providing for the preparation, indexing and retention of meeting notifications, agendas, minutes, and related documents.
· Attends Board meetings; take minute official minutes of official meetings.
· Stay up to date on Brown Act matters, including requirements for notice posting and board meetings.
· Act as liaison between Board Members when requesting District related information including coordination of the information gathering.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Prolonged periods of standing and moving
· Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at times.
Salary:
· Salary: $48,000-$52,000
Work Schedule
· Monday through Friday, 8a-5p with occasional Overtime
