Executive Assistant provides multi-faceted administrative support and assistance to ensure effective use of an executive's time and productive interactions with staff and the public. Handles a wide range of administrative and support tasks and independently initiates and implements processes to manage projects, information, and people. Being an Executive Assistant manages the executive's schedule, meeting preparations, follow-up tasks, and complex travel arrangements. Conducts research and information gathering on behalf of the executive and prepares summaries and reports. Additionally, Executive Assistant develops positive and strategic relationships at all levels of the organization. Uses discretion, judgment, and knowledge of the organization to facilitate the executive's activities and maintain confidentiality. May be responsible for directing and deploying support staff or other resources. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to c-suite executive. The Executive Assistant work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project.   • Overview:

    As an Executive Assistant, you assist the Executive Management Team, and work closely with Senior Corporate Officers and regional management. A strong candidate for this role is confident, resourceful, results-oriented, self-motivated and extremely organized. You are working with several focused, goal-oriented individuals with multiple and conflicting priorities. The ability to execute tasks while adapting to change and unexpected events will serve you well.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Day in the Life – Every day your focus will be on providing administrative assistance for various Executive Officers. Activities include coordinating daily events for the Executive Management Team, scheduling appointments and travel arrangements, coordinating and organizing various meetings, committees and events for both internal team members and external stakeholders, and maintaining total confidentiality of all corporate, personnel and other work related issues. You will also work with our GABC Directors and shareholders.
    • Special Projects & Corporate Events – There are many opportunities to grow and develop in this position. You will create presentations and communications for Executive Management. You will also plan and coordinate Corporate Events and lead projects that support the strategic and business initiatives lead by the Executive Management team.

    What it Takes:

    • Work Experience: 10 years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant
    • Knowledge of and Experience with: Proactively building a network and maintaining effective working relationships across diverse teams; working with sensitive and confidential information, customer experience, adapting to meet customer and/or business needs, working individually and in teams, using a creative mind-set to take a project from concept to completion, achieving goals, accepting and implementing corporate strategies, using available resources and partnerships to solve problems
    • Skills in: Organizational skills and attention to detail, communicating effectively (both written and verbally across a diverse spectrum), ability to track and follow-up on multiple projects simultaneously, time management, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe, proofreading, grammatical skills, decisionmaking, thinking critically and logically, solving problems and deescalating situations with team members and customers, facilitation/public speaking

    Bonus Points:

    • Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
    • Paralegal or Litigation experience a bonus
    • Proficiency using a CRM platform
    • Bilingual/Multilingual
    • Knowledge of banking
