Executive Casino Host jobs in Lansing, MI

We are looking for enthusiastic Hosts to ensure our Guests are greeted with warmth, seated and served, setting the stage for the Guests’ overall positive experience. With assistance and supervision of the Managers, the Hosts control the seamless flow of Guests into the restaurant, rotating Guests fairly into different Server sections. Hosts also answer the phones, assist with Take Out orders, clean and move tables and chairs as needed and other Front of the House functions.

Responsibilities:

Organize and prep the hostess stand.

Attend to Guests upon entrance.

Present restaurant menus, explain service options and answer questions.

Escort guests to their tables and communicate with Servers.

Assist Bussers and Servers as needed.

Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.

Handle complaints or problems with positive attitude, reporting issues to management.

Qualifications:

Desire to grow and learn within the restaurant and hospitality industry

High School graduate or equivalent is preferred.

Amiable, outgoing, organized High School students would be considered.

Some restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train.

Be flexible with schedule, work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Reliable transportation required.
