Executive Chef Assistant - Casino assists the executive chef in the operations of the hotel kitchen. Involved in menu development and cooking to ensure meal quality and customer satisfaction. Being an Executive Chef Assistant - Casino may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to an Executive Chef. The Executive Chef Assistant - Casino supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. WORK SCHEDULE: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
DEFINITION: Maintains files of all of the corporation’s functions, and prepares reports, records, and correspondence for the corporation.
SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIP: Directly responsible to the Executive Director.
CLERICAL DUTIES:
1. Meetings
a. Type minutes of the Board of Directors.
b. Prepare agenda and packet of needed information for the Board Member files before board meetings.
c. And/or Committee meetings.
d. Call Board Members prior to meetings.
e. Attend Board meetings, record, type, and distribute minutes.
2. Input data into management information system.
3. Create all files for new employees.
4. Set up background checks for new employees.
5. Billings.
a. Process monthly billings and reports as required.
b. File billings, invoices, and reports in book.
6. Mail drop and other errands as needed.
7. Distribute and record petty cash.
8. Compilation of participant demographics and participation stats.
