Responsibilities:
- Develop and create innovative and high-quality menus that align with our restaurant's concept and target audience
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Manage and train kitchen staff, ensuring a high standard of performance and adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest satisfaction
- Source and select high-quality ingredients from local suppliers and maintain relationships with vendors
- Monitor food costs and inventory levels, implementing cost-saving measures without compromising on quality
- Stay updated with industry trends and techniques, incorporating new ideas into menu development
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and international cuisines
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts, with a keen eye for detail
