Executive Chef - Casino is responsible for all of the operations of the kitchens. Creates and updates menus to maximize profits and minimize loss. Being an Executive Chef - Casino tests and develops recipes. Monitors customer satisfaction. Additionally, Executive Chef - Casino maintains inventory of kitchen supplies and food. Ensures that food and facilities meet all governmental regulations. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a top management. The Executive Chef - Casino manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Executive Chef - Casino typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     • Leadership qualities including the ability to inspire, teach, and coach a large, diverse team
    • 3 years of kitchen leadership experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef in high-volume, well-rated restaurants
    • Ability to support the line during service while managing the transition from prep to service
    • Thoughtful, ehtical and sustainable approach to sourcing, preparation and execution of dishes
    • Strong financial acumen as it pertains to food costs and budgeting
    • The ability to leave their ego at the door and thoughtfully collaborate with both Executive team members and hourly staff whom you will manage.
    • Have a strong desire to learn and grow with a supportive and ambitious restaurant family.
