Executive Chef --- Proven Multi-Unit Leadership

We are looking for a creative and dynamic leader who excels in all aspects of culinary operations and has proven multi-unit leadership.

Responsibilities

• Will plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities in multiple locations.
• Will modify menus or execute new dishes that meet quality and brand standards
• Coach, teach, and develop managers who can control food/labor costs
• Supervise multiple chefs in their roles at their locations
• Evaluate the need for equipment purchases and repairs
• Recruit and manage unit-level kitchen leadership  
• Rectify arising problems or complaints
• Ensure quality standards are always being upheld
• Perform administrative duties
• Coach, teach, and develop managers who follow sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with your chefs on schedules, ensuring they are right-sized for the business.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

Skills

• Proven working experience as a head chef
• Excellent record of kitchen management
• Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
• Capable of delegating multiple tasks
• Communication and leadership skills
• Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
• Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
