Being an Executive Chef - Casino tests and develops recipes. Monitors customer satisfaction. Additionally, Executive Chef - Casino maintains inventory of kitchen supplies and food. Ensures that food and facilities meet all governmental regulations. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a top management. The Executive Chef - Casino manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Executive Chef - Casino typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The main function of the Executive Chef is to coordinate appropriate resident dietary menu planning and oversees daily operations of food preparation by dietary staff at our Independent Living Community. Ensure that Dietary employees engaged in preparing food, serving food and maintaining cleanliness of food service areas and equipment are performing the proper procedures as outlined by state and federal regulations.
