Executive Chef - Casino is responsible for all of the operations of the kitchens. Creates and updates menus to maximize profits and minimize loss. Being an Executive Chef - Casino tests and develops recipes. Monitors customer satisfaction. Additionally, Executive Chef - Casino maintains inventory of kitchen supplies and food. Ensures that food and facilities meet all governmental regulations. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a top management. The Executive Chef - Casino manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Executive Chef - Casino typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:

    • Training and supervising food service staff
    • Preparing gourmet meals for clients, family and staff.
    • Ability to prepare gluten free, organic, vegan, and specialty meals
    • Organize food storage areas and keep clean.
    • Ordering proper items for kitchen as needed.
    • Work with food service vendor on menu planning and cost control
    • Consistent monitoring temperatures on all equipment
    • Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen in compliance with all health codes
    • Ensure good personal hygiene for self as well as food service staff
    • Be able to manage portion control
    • At least one year experience cooking in food service industry as a Chef required.

    Education/Licensure:

    • HS Diploma/GED
    • Serv Safe preferred
