Executive Chef - Casino is responsible for all of the operations of the kitchens. Creates and updates menus to maximize profits and minimize loss. Ensures that food and facilities meet all governmental regulations. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a top management. The Executive Chef - Casino manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Executive Chef - Casino typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Job Description: South Campus Chef
Reports To: Kitchen Director
Wage: $17/hr
Time Commitment: 25-29 hours/week, including one Saturday or Sunday shift from 10am-5pm a week)The Kitchen Chef is the person who assists the Kitchen Manager in all things. They run a point on cleanliness, assisting in cooking breakfast and lunch meals, and transports meals to other campuses.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare necessary meals
- Transport meals from North campus to South campus every day
- Plan and communicate necessities for meals with Kitchen Director and team members
- Oversee the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining room
- Assist with prep work during downtime
- Serve food to clients
- Wash dishes
- Hold appropriate boundaries with students
- Help prepare food for Family Days
- Takes on any as needed responsibilities assigned by the Kitchen Director
Requirements
- Must complete Direct Care Training
- Food Handlers Permit (current)
