Executive Chef directs and oversees kitchen operations, including menu development, purchasing, inventory, cost control and sanitation. Creates and updates menus that will appeal to customers, utilize seasonal ingredients, and maximize profits. Being an Executive Chef develops and tests new recipes. Solicits and studies customer feedback to maintain high standards of quality and satisfaction. Additionally, Executive Chef troubleshoots and resolves operational issues. Complies with all safety and food sanitation laws and regulations. Supervises, trains, and mentors staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in culinary arts or equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Executive Chef typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     Qualifications:

    1. Culinary Expertise: Possess a blend of culinary education and hands-on experience in culinary management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
    2. Food Safety Certification: Hold a valid ServeSafe or Food Handler's certification, or be willing to obtain one before starting work.
    3. Knowledge of Food Service Regulations: Have advanced knowledge of food service regulations to ensure compliance and uphold high standards.
    4. Time Management and Efficiency: Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills, efficiently managing hot and cold line production in a fast-paced environment.
    5. Physical Stamina: Be able to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift, in an environment with varying temperatures.
    6. Hand Tools and Equipment: Possess proficiency in using hand tools and equipment relevant to the position.
    7. Physical Strength: Be capable of lifting, carrying, or pulling heavy objects as required for the role.
