Executive Chef directs and oversees kitchen operations, including menu development, purchasing, inventory, cost control and sanitation. Creates and updates menus that will appeal to customers, utilize seasonal ingredients, and maximize profits. Being an Executive Chef develops and tests new recipes. Solicits and studies customer feedback to maintain high standards of quality and satisfaction. Additionally, Executive Chef troubleshoots and resolves operational issues. Complies with all safety and food sanitation laws and regulations. Supervises, trains, and mentors staff. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in culinary arts or equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Executive Chef typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     Responsibilities

    The Executive Assistant provides support for the Mill General Manager and the Pine Bluff Lead Team by developing communications, preparing reports, handling information requests, conducting research, managing vendor relationships, and performing administrative functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging travel, coordinating vital records storage and scheduling conference calls and meetings.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for developing content for daily and weekly newsletter and publishing across mill/organization.
    • Develop internal communications in conjunction with key stakeholders. 
    • Coordinate, support and point of contact for external community and association events as needed.
    • Coordinate various assigned projects and their interdependencies
    • Prepare reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents, using spreadsheets, databases, or presentation software.
    • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including mail, faxes and email.
    • Manage expense reports
    • Manage calendars and organize meetings and appointments
    • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems.
    • File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.
    • Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries.
    • Prepare agendas and make arrangements for meetings.
    • Coordinate mill wide training meetings
    • Conduct research, compile data, and assist leadership team in preparing This includes preparing Excel spreadsheets, charts and graphs; PowerPoint slides with graphics, etc.
    • Assist in planning and organization of office events.
    • Send documents for e-signature.
    • Point of Contact for office cleaning contract.
    • Assist Human Resource Department with various tasks as needed. Responsibilities may include scheduling and coordinating salaried candidate visits, distribution of service awards.
    • Maintain salaried organizational chart, holiday schedule and weekend duty roster
    • Coordinate activities and record of spending for Mill offsite training center.

     

    Normal hours from 7am until 3:30pm weekdays with some OT for special projects. Flexible hours as needed for project support and events.

     

    Qualifications

    Experience and Education:

    • Undergraduate degree in communications or a Business related field is preferred.
    • 3 or more years related work history.
    • High proficiency level with databases including creating reports
    • High proficiency level with other MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, Project & PowerPoint. SharePoint is a plus.
    • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to effectively present to all levels of the organization; a strong presence is required.
    • Excellent organizational skills.
    • Ability to prioritize competing needs.
    • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team. 
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • High integrity and ability to build trusting
    • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
