Our growing establishment is renowned for its premium barbecue and artisan brioche donuts, dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining experience. We seek a culinary expert who shares our enthusiasm for outstanding food and service, with a specialized skill set that extends as much into our kitchen as it does or dining room. Open 7 days per week, brunch, lunch, dinner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate the kitchen team to uphold the highest standards in culinary excellence. You must be a team player while also having a firm grasp on restaurant operations.
• Innovate and refine the menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and aligning with customer tastes, with a special emphasis on baking, pastry, butchery, and charcuterie.
• Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, from food preparation to cooking and presentation, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
• Adhere to and enforce health and safety regulations.
• Oversee procurement, inventory management, and relations with suppliers to secure top-quality ingredients.
• Perform food costing, manage kitchen finances to ensure profitability, and optimize operational costs.
• Schedule kitchen staff efficiently to maintain optimal operation without compromising quality.

Requirements:

• Experience in a high-volume kitchen environment, with a proven track record as a Chef or in a comparable leadership role.
• A strong passion for and experience in fresh made cuisine, baking, pastry, butchery, and charcuterie.
• Comprehensive understanding of kitchen operations, including ordering, costing, and scheduling.
• Exceptional leadership and communication abilities, with a knack for motivating and managing a diverse culinary team.
• A creative culinary mind, adept at innovating and adapting to evolving market trends, with a commitment to culinary excellence.
• Dedication to the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
• The Ability to work directly with customers as well as staff.
