    Our Classification and Compensation Team is seeking a team member with an attention to detail who can quickly grasp the fundamentals, as well as complexities, of the systems and data related to this position.

    The right addition to our team will be someone who can apply critical thinking to understand a request for information, identify appropriate data sources, analyze and validate the data, and creatively display the results.     What you’ll do:

    • Compile, validate, and ensure accuracy of data for team member salaries, salary studies, pay plan implementation, salary survey responses, media requests, internal/external customer requests, and ad hoc requests.
    • Export information from the data warehouse and other applications to run routine reports and ad hoc queries.
    • Research appropriate topics to support compensation decisions, such as job market prices, economic indicators, and other relevant information.
    • Utilize data visualization tools to illustrate trends in compensation (i.e., look at salary inequities, review necessary market adjustments, analyze salary surveys).
    • Convert and validate raw data from several data sources in various forms into clear, meaningful information and tell a story by creatively displaying details in charts, graphs, slides and/or dashboards.
    • Learn the process for job analysis and evaluation to support other Classification and Compensation team members.
    • Train other Classification and Compensation team members on data processes, as needed.

    All you need for success:

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred (substitutions may be allowed).
    • SAM II HR and data warehouse experience preferred.
    • Experience with Tableau and Qualtrics preferred.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and determine reporting requirements.
    • Outstanding attention to detail, analytical skills, and reporting capabilities.
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and complete tasks with a sense of urgency.
    • Skilled in researching, analyzing and reporting on large data sets.
    • Ability to prepare compensation recommendations with supporting documentation.
    • High level of proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep Builder, MS PowerPoint, and Qualtrics.
    • Experience with data warehouses, writing queries, developing reports and presentations, and using SQL.
    • Ability to train other team members on data processes.
