Executive Compensation Manager is responsible for the analysis and administration of executive compensation programs, annual and long-term incentive programs, and deferred compensation plans. Provide consultation on executive compensation matters to senior executives and human resources. Being an Executive Compensation Manager oversees the preparation of compensation data for proxy disclosure and compensation committee meetings. Assists executive directly or engages/manages outside consultants with tax matters related to compensation. Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Establishes daily work plans and schedules and tracks daily progress and project status.
• Manages and coordinates subcontractors, on-site Project Engineer, and QA/QC personnel/requirements and activities. Manages all on-site personnel including but not limited to: Subcontractors, Project Engineer, Safety Representatives, QA/QC.
• Manages procurement, operation, and utilization of facilities, equipment, and tools assigned to project.
• Manages receiving, storing, tracking, and protection with all project materials and equipment, including those procured by the client.
• Manages on-site logistics, ensuring materials and equipment are properly staged ahead of installation to maximize production.
• Communicates routinely with Engineer of Record, Project Manager, and client to ensure projects are implemented according to design.
• Assists Senior Project Manager, and Project Controls Manager as-needed to support development and on-time submittal of required construction documents (i.e. submittals, RFIs, change requests, design change notices, engineering requests, schedules and schedule/manhour metrics, etc.). • Ensures daily inspections and QA/QC observations are being completed, documented, and reported.
• Works directly with Project Engineer, subcontractors, and trades to develop and issue daily reports as required by the client. Assist Project Manager and Project Controls Manager in developing formal weekly, monthly, and annual reports required by client.
• Maintains project schedules, budgets, contractual obligations, safe work environments, and client satisfaction. Works with Project Controls Manager as needed to meet expectations.
• Engages with client on a daily basis and attends meetings and phone/conference calls with client at various levels of their project personnel. Be prepared to report on or address questions relating to project progress, quality, safety, or operations.
• Ensures proper daily project documentation (as-builts, redlines, record drawings, etc.) is being maintained and reported to the Senior Project Manager, Project Controls Manager, and client at all levels and per project requirements.
• Resolves company, project, or personnel issues. Coordinates directly with Senior Project Manager as necessary for problem resolution.
• Promotes and maintains a positive safety culture – works directly with Safety Manager and client to meet safety expectations and goals.
• Demonstrates professionalism at all times and regularly communicates importance of professionalism from all site and project personnel.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• B.S. in Mechanical or Construction Management, Electrical, Renewable Energy, Construction Engineering or similar, Renewable Energy, or equivalent project experience/technical knowledge/capabilities.
• Minimum 5 years of construction/site management experience required. Utility scale solar or utility site experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of construction documents (submittals, RFIs, change requests, etc.), quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes, and construction reporting.
• Solar mechanical and electrical knowledge. • Site/civil and construction knowledge.
• Understanding of environmental requirements/plans/concepts (BMPs, SWPPP, SPP, etc.).
• Capable of managing and making urgent decisions.
• Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, demanding, and exciting technology environment.
• Detail oriented and able to organize information. • Strong work ethic and team player attributes.
• Be able to work both in an independent environment and in a team setting.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willing to travel and work at long-term (1 to 3 years) on-site project assignments, extended workdays and weekends or holidays may be required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience with programs such as P6 and ProCore preferred.
• Preferred experience within a CRM system such as SalesForce.
