Executive Housekeeper jobs in Johnstown, PA
Executive Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring that hotel rooms and facilities are kept in a clean and orderly condition in line with hotel policies and guest satisfaction. Responsible for overseeing and training housekeeping staff. Being an Executive Housekeeper manages housekeeping supplies and equipment. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Executive Housekeeper typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Executive Housekeeper has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. To be an Executive Housekeeper typically requires 3-5 years of related experience, or may have 2 years experience plus an associates degree, or additional training or certification. The Housekeeper's main job duty is to offer all hotel guests clean and tidy overnight accommodations by performing general cleaning duties. Candidate must be able to (1) Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, dust, wash walls and ceilings, dust and polish light fixtures, make beds, etc., (2) Clean bathroom thoroughly (vacuums, mops, dusts, etc.) and do so by following all required procedures. Candidate must be trainable, thorough and have a strong attention for detail.
Candidates must successfully pass a criminal and pre-employment drug screen.
