Executive Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring that hotel rooms and facilities are kept in a clean and orderly condition in line with hotel policies and guest satisfaction. Responsible for overseeing and training housekeeping staff. Being an Executive Housekeeper manages housekeeping supplies and equipment. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Executive Housekeeper typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Executive Housekeeper has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. To be an Executive Housekeeper typically requires 3-5 years of related experience, or may have 2 years experience plus an associates degree, or additional training or certification. Job Overview: Room Attendants are responsible for cleaning and preparing rooms for our overnight guests. Additionally, Room Attendants contribute to the overall safety and security of the hotel by reporting damage, following safety rules, and assisting in emergency situations.
Job Overview and Primary Work Duties -
- Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures
- Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks
- Making beds and changing linens
- Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
- Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors
- Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry
- Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools
- Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies
- Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces
- Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste
- Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed
- Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills
- Previous experience in housekeeping preferred but not requiredJob Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
