Executive Housekeeper jobs in Petaluma, CA

SUMMARY:
Housekeeping: As directed and scheduled by Housekeeping Manager, responsibilities include cleaning all offices, tastings rooms and venues at Cline Cellars, Jacuzzi Family Vineyards and The Olive Press. Also includes periodic cleaning at other facilities including 8th St Warehouse, Cline Family homes and Guest Houses.

Hospitality and Special Events: Support hospitality department in the set up and clean-up of daily wine tasting activities and special events. Support daytime and evening events as directed by Housekeeping Manager. Supports kitchen operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
General duties at all locations include: :

• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming cleaning and sanitizing.

• Responsible to check priority list at beginning of each workday.

• Replenishing supplies as needed in bathrooms, kitchens and offices.

Housekeeping duties for hospitality and special events include:

• Set up and cleanup of wine tasting and service areas.

• Clean and maintain tasting and event venues as needed.

• Clean and polish glassware before and after use.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms according to company protocols during tasting and events activities.

• Assist with garbage and recycling disposal as needed throughout the shift.

• Set up and clean up bars, coffee service, table settings and food service as needed in a variety of hospitality settings.

• As needed help with placement of linens, décor and flowers.

• Sort and track linen inventory as needed.

• Assist with food preparation for tasting room experiences.

• Assist with dishwashing duties on weekends.

Housekeeping duties for Cline Vineyard Estate and other guest houses to include:

• Report any missing or damaged item

• Assist with replenishing of supplies as needed

• Occasionally full-service cleaning (including linens) before check-in and after check-out is needed or before a winery event.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous housekeeping experience.

• Previous experience working in a kitchen a plus

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be flexible with shift and schedule availability to include evenings as needed for special events.

• Punctuality and good time management skills.

• Ability to communicate conversationally in both English and Spanish preferred.

• Strong work ethics, professional and positive can-do attitude.

• Genuine team player.

• Hard worker, able to shift priorities quickly & remain calm under pressure.

Physical Demands:

• Continuous standing. Frequent walking on uneven surfaces and on even surfaces.

• Frequent bending, twisting and reaching above and below shoulder level.

• Frequent kneeling and crawling may be required, as well as infrequent climbing.

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and occasionally lift 21-50 pounds.

• Ability to carry up to 10 pounds frequently and occasionally carry 11-20 pounds. May be required to carry 21-50 pounds infrequently.

• Ability to push or pull up to 10 pounds frequently and occasionally push or pull 20-50 pounds.

• Able to work in all kinds of weather (rain, cold, wind, heat, sun).

Pay Range: $17 - $18/hour (Depends on Experience)
