Executive Housekeeper jobs in Springfield, MA
Executive Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring that hotel rooms and facilities are kept in a clean and orderly condition in line with hotel policies and guest satisfaction. Responsible for overseeing and training housekeeping staff. Being an Executive Housekeeper manages housekeeping supplies and equipment. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Executive Housekeeper typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Executive Housekeeper has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. To be an Executive Housekeeper typically requires 3-5 years of related experience, or may have 2 years experience plus an associates degree, or additional training or certification. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details
- Perform housekeeping chores in Resident rooms
- Responsible for cleaning common areas of the facility
- Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas
- Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times
- Removal of trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds
- Must be able to work as a team member
- Solid work ethic, with initiative for quality and customer service
- Ability to learn how to operate commercial laundry equipment
Qualifications and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
- Must be Reliable and Keep to a Schedule
- May Need to Work a Varied Schedule, as requested
- Healthcare or Commercial Laundry: 1 year (Preferred)
- Healthcare or Commercial Housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
