Executive Pastry Chef - Casino jobs in Bergenfield, NJ

We are a super small bakery and coffeeshop in NJ about 20 mins from NYC and a 5 min walk from the train/ transit station. If you are looking for a way to be creative think outside the box and are truly passionate about food and cooking we may be the right fit for you! Our baked goods includes muffins donuts mini cakes pies specialty cakes (more on the rustic side) . For the most part we DO NOT have a set menu. We work with what we get and do things a little differently. We are constantly thinking outside the box for innovative ideas flavors and foods.

We are expanding and in need of a baker or pastry cook who is experienced and has good work skills! Candidates must be able to work as part of a team multitask and be accurate with scaling and measuring. Good finishing skills (piping cutting) are also important. Our ideal candidates are passionate about food and coffee and are willing to accept direction as necessary.

Experienced only please. Ability to follow a recipe as it is written and deliver a consistent results. Works quickly and neatly ( we have an open kitchen so you must be clean!). Pooled tips end of the month added to pay. 5:30 AM starting shift for baker and 7:30 am for Barista!
