Private member only golf club in the Clearwater area is looking to hire an Executive Pastry Chef to lead and manage the pastry operation and team. Our pastry kitchen is well equipped with equipment that allows our team to be successful.
Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Executive Pastry Chef who has the work experience to work in a from scratch kitchen. We do a range of pastry items to include ice creams, cookies, cakes, plated desserts and buffet display's. Creativity and flexibility is a must have with the ability to adapt to changes in member trends. Must be extremely organized and detailed to be successful here as our membership has high expectations for the culinary team. Bring your ideas and goals and share them with the open minded team.
Menus change in the Bistro every 2 weeks and in the fine dining restaurant 4 times a year. Often you will have to craft new menus for banquets and club events. We do some chef tables and wine dinners that will require some out the box thinking and creativity.
This chef will work 5 days a week generally off Sunday and Monday, unless there is a holiday or large event. This position will include some nights to include Thursday- Saturday but there is flexibility. Average work week hours will be 50 per week.
Qualifications and Skills
Compensation will be based on previous experience. Must be able to work all shifts to include days, nights, and weekends. Standard benefits to include PTO, healthcare, etc.
