Position: Pastry/Bread Chef
Location: Turf Club, Twin Falls, Idaho
Compensation: Competitive hourly base plus tip share. Open to full time and part time applicants.
Summary:
The Turf Club, in Twin Falls, Idaho, is seeking a skilled and creative Pastry/Bread Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pastry and bread making, along with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality. This role offers

Responsibilities:
1. Pastry and Bread Production:
- Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, desserts, and bread items according to
established recipes and standards.
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all pastry and bread products.
2. Menu Development:
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and refine pastry and bread offerings that
complement the restaurant's overall menu.
- Contribute creative ideas for new and seasonal pastry and bread items.
3. Ingredient Management:
- Manage inventory of pastry and bread ingredients, ensuring freshness and minimizing
waste.
- Order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
4. Baking and Oven Management:
- Operate baking equipment effectively and safely, including ovens, and mixers.
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to achieve optimal results.
5. Quality Control:
- Conduct regular quality checks on pastry and bread products to ensure they meet the
restaurant's standards for taste, texture, and appearance.
- Address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
6. Sanitation and Safety:
- Adhere to strict sanitation and food safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized
work area at all times.
- Follow proper handling and storage procedures for all pastry and bread ingredients.
7. Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other members of the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen
operations.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate pastry and bread production with
other menu items.
8. Training and Development:
- Be able to train and mentor other kitchen staff, fostering their skill development and growth.
- Provide guidance and support to kitchen team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef, Bread Chef, or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of pastry and bread production techniques and methods.
- Creative flair and a passion for experimenting with flavors and ingredients.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
