We are looking for experienced, driven, and passionate Pastry Associate to join our pastry team in our state of the art manufacturing facility in historic Lawrence, MA. This is a unique job experience that marries artistry, fine quality products and time honored traditions.

Job Scope

Responsibilities|

• Weigh dry and wet ingredients with scales to ensure uniformity.
• Fill, layer, cut and decorate full sheet cakes using pastry bags and kitchen knives.
• Maintains adequate supply of built/cut sheet cakes on hand and ensures the proper storage and refrigeration.
• Fill daily market/restaurant orders, Ensuring to always maintain a high-quality standard.
• Maintain a clean work station per health and safety regulations

Job Requirements

• 1-2 years of baking experience in a high-volume pastry kitchen; Willing to train the right candidate
• Positive and professional attitude
• An appetite for learning.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds daily
• Ability to remain focused in a fast paced work environment
• Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required.
• Passion for baking with a keen eye for freshness, quality and cleanliness.
• Ability to work a varied and flexible schedule, including weekends and Holidays
• Ability to enter the coolers and freezers thereby being subjected to and withstanding frequent temperature changes for extended periods of time.
• Able to work a flexible schedule with various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as determined by business needs
• SERVSAFE certification or successfully completed a sanitation course, preferred
