    POSITION SUMMARY: As a Recruiter at Crossroads YMCA, you will play a vital role in building our dynamic team. You will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and selecting top talent who share our commitment to inclusivity, excellence, and community impact. This role contributes to creating a positive employee experience while supporting our growth and expansion.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    1. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
    2. Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking, to identify and engage potential candidates.
    3. Review resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
    4. Recommend and present suitable candidates to hiring managers, facilitating the interview and evaluation process. 
    5. Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication, feedback, and a welcoming atmosphere.
    6. Promote diversity and inclusion in the hiring process, striving for a diverse and representative workforce.
    7. Stay up to date with employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all recruitment activities.
    8. Assist with the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
    9. Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.
    2. Proven experience as a recruiter or in a similar role.
    3. Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and employment laws.
    4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
    6. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and welcoming workplace.
    7. Certifications required within 30 days of hire: CPR/AED & First Aid, New Leader Orientation
    8. Ability to relate and communicate effectively with diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
    9. Desire and ability to work with people of all ages and backgrounds.
