The Recruiter performs an ability to assess candidate's skills, experience, and relevant knowledge to compare them to job requirements needed. This individual is experienced in talent sourcing with the capacity to attract the best qualified candidates for interviews to hire. The person in this role will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. They would also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. Our ideal recruiter holds an academic HR background combined with work experience in screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
❖ Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
❖ Identifying future hiring needs and developing job descriptions and specifications.
❖ Collaborating with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements.
❖ Conducting interviews, assessing applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.
❖ Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges, etc.
❖ Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, etc.
❖ Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule.
❖ Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
❖ Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
❖ Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
❖ Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
❖ Proactively develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance.
❖ Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
❖ Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
❖ Post openings in online venues, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues.
❖ Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable employer of choice reputation for the company, both internally and externally.
❖ Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
❖ Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.
❖ Coordinate college recruiting initiatives & career fairs.
❖ Give presentations at colleges, attend student group meetings, and increase college awareness of the company before and after career fairs.
❖ Manage the use of staffing agencies & headhunters.
❖ Performs other duties as required and assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
❖ Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress, etc.)
❖ Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks, etc.)
❖ Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
❖ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
❖ Strong decision-making skills
❖ Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
❖ Ability to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, creativity to changing needs and situations
❖ Excellent interpersonal skills, including leadership, influencing, and relationship-building across functions
❖ Extremely organized, detailed oriented, offering follow-up skills, with the ability to maintain accuracy while managing multiple deadlines in a growing company environment
❖ Proficiency of Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field; or two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SALARY RANGE:
$50,000.00 - $72,000.00 annually
