Position Overview:
As a Recruiter at Fernway, you will play a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and hiring exceptional sales and marketing professionals who will contribute to our company's success. You will work closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to understand our business needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, train interviewers, and build a pipeline of qualified candidates. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Fernway by bringing in dynamic individuals who will drive our sales and marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop hiring plans for sales and marketing positions.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess their qualifications, skills, and fit for the role and company culture.
- Utilize a variety of recruiting methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, to attract top talent.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial candidate contact to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates to create a positive candidate experience and promote Fernway as an employer of choice.
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers on recruitment progress, candidate pipeline, and market insights.
- Meet & exceed KPIs for hiring speed and quality.
- Create training materials, including interview guides, scoring rubrics, and evaluation criteria, to support interviewers in assessing candidate qualifications and fit.
- Implement anti-bias training initiatives to promote fairness, equity, and diversity in the recruitment and selection process.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in recruitment to continuously improve our hiring processes.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on sales and marketing roles.
- Proven track record of successfully recruiting sales and marketing professionals in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of sourcing techniques and recruitment strategies, including social media, networking, and direct sourcing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools is preferred.
- Knowledge of the cannabis industry or experience recruiting for regulated industries is a plus.
