A. Responsibilities and Duties: The primary responsibility of The Mobile Crisis Response Team Case Manager provides short term transitional community, center, and hospital-based crisis support services and crisis case management services to children, adolescents, and adults through a multidisciplinary collaborative service approach. Specific duties include:
1. The Case Manager services as a part of the Mobile Crisis Response Team
2. Respond to Douglas County community members in Crisis in their homes, workplaces, schools, and other locations.
B. Accountability: The Mobile Crisis Response Team Case Manager will report directly to the Mobile Crisis Team Program Manager, who will not less than annually conduct a performance evaluation in compliance with established BNC personnel policies.
C. Qualifications: The Mobile Crisis Response Team Therapist position requires:
1. BA/BS Degree or four years of equivalent education and/or experience working in the human service field.
2. Reliable transportation; and a valid, unrestricted driver's license and proof of current car insurance.
3. Experience providing community based and crisis services strongly preferred.
4. Knowledge and training in evidence-based practices in Community Behavioral Health Care.
5. A commitment to interdisciplinary and community mental health center approaches.
6. Prior computer experience and basic computer fluency;
7. Must be able to achieve within one's first 6 months of employment a working competency in the management and use of the Center's electronic medical record (EMR) software as demonstrated by timely and accurate documentation of the clinical record;
8. An ability to work independently in cooperation with others;
9. An ability to exercise sound independent judgment;
10. Flexibility in assigned working hours;
11. An energetic and positive approach to the rapidly evolving changes and challenges of a complex workplace.
